Any one out there in cyberland know about powering a building on a generator? The building we are leasing has a HUGE diesel generator that hasn’t been used much or long (700 hrs). We are looking into if it is feasible to power the WHOLE brewery off of this. I work at a biodiesel plant and we would run it on biodiesel with batteries as well. We need someone familiar with this to come check it out and give us their opinion as to whether it is feasible or not…..drop me a line.

March- We’ve moved the equipment in but we still have a lot of cleaning, painting and fixin’ up to do (not to mention getting some electricity). We LOVE our new space and the building is awesome- old school navy built. It’s a little overwhelming to know how much work has to be done before we get to make beer!

The equipment finally arrived yesterday. After 3 days of dismantling and a flat bed truck ride…it is now finally sitting in our building. We’ll be cleaning up the building (big time!- it’s really dirty) and starting to piece it all back together.
