Well, we didn’t get any of the hops that Samuel Adams was sharing. They had so many requests that they had to hold a lottery and poor little COAST didn’t get any. No English bitter for us I guess. Unless somebody has some extra just laying around???

Yup, we did it! We finally bottled some COAST, albeit not very much. HopArt IPA and Blackbeerd Imperial Stout are hitting Ted’s Butcher Block tomorrow- though I think he is holding them for a release on Saturday given the demand. Whole Foods will be getting some in the next little while and probably a smaller bit at Wine A While as well. I ‘ll update when I know for sure.
By the way, we busted out that 5 month conditioning Chocolate Rye Brown. It is still VERY good, but not superb so we won’t be officially selling that, but you might get a taste here and there just for kicks.
Another word on our bottles. We suggest drinking the HopArt fresh (not cellaring). The Blackbeerd, we *think* can be cellared for a while but since this is our first bottling run, we can’t say for sure. We’re doing all kinds of experiments at the brewery to try to determine shelf life and all that.
